Our 1 ml Durham tube is made out of clear tubular glass of the 3rd hydrolytic class. This glass tube has a round bottom. It’s dimensions are ø 7.00 x 35 x 0.50 mm.
Packing of the disposable round bottom tubes is done in polypropylene trays, sealed and provided with a NAFVSM label. The manufacturing of these round bottom tubes is in our plant in Andeville, France.
The disposable Durham tubes are used in the microbiology to detect production of gas by microorganisms. These smaller test tubes are inserted upside down in another test tubes. At NAFVSM we offer the possibility to purchase the Durham tube already in another tube.
